Happy Anniversary

On their 13th wedding anniversary, long-simmering tensions between Manhattan businessman Chris Walters (David Niven) and his homemaker wife, Alice (Mitzi Gaynor), explode with the arrival of a new television set from Alice's well-meaning but meddlesome parents (Loring Smith, Phyllis Povah). Tired of Chris's explosive temper and embarrassed by his drunken admission to her parents that they had been intimate prior to their wedding night, Alice debates leaving her husband.
