California Dreaming

Out to experience the summer magic of the West Coast, T.T. (Dennis Christopher) leaves his home in Chicago behind and heads to California. Attempting to ease into the culture of sun and surf, the awkward Midwesterner tries, somewhat unsuccessfully, to fit in with the local crowd. Luckily, T.T. finds a kind mentor in the form of aging bar owner Duke (Seymour Cassel), who helps him feel at home. As T.T. spends more time on the beach, he begins to realize it isn't as ideal as he'd expected.
