Dragon Heart: Adventures Beyond This World

Young cousins Ryusuke and Tomomi sink to the bottom of a river, only to be rescued by a majestic dragon that takes them to a mysterious old man. He tells them that they're already dead, but they can come back to life if they explore the spirit world.
