Description
Nate Toler and Jenny Useldinger are taking advantage of Hawaii's newest housing craze -- and making the world a better place -- by custom building eco-friendly yurts. The funky, domed-roof domiciles are definitely not just for camping anymore. Yurts are gaining mainstream appeal because they are easy to build, easy to move (if one desires) and easy on the eyes. On Oahu's North Shore, Toler and Useldinger construct two- and three-story yurts and, by incorporating organic farming and sustainable living, teach their clients how to live off the land without sacrificing an ounce of comfort in dwellings that are anything but primitive.
